SiFu/Guro Jason McGuire is owner and head instructor of the Foothills Kung-Fu Arnis Academy. Mr. McGuire currently holds the ranks of fifth degree black sash in Tai Yang Tzu Jan Men or "Suburst Natural Fist System", a third degree black sash in Sil-Lum Kung-Fu, a second degree black sash in Sasamba Kali-Arnis and a first degree black sash in Emperor's Long Fist Kung-Fu under Tuhon
Rick Ward. Mr. McGuire also holds the rank of fourth degree black belt under Tuhon Guadiosa Ruby in Comjuka Kali.

Mr. McGuire is a first generation Disciple of Grandmaster Tuhon Rick Ward's Sunburst Natural Fist System. He has been given the conferred Chinese name of Wei Zha Hu meaning Blood Tiger of the Wei Family. He is also a Vice-President of the International Kung-Fu Arnis Association.

In 2002 Mr. McGuire was inducted by Tuhon Guadiosa Ruby into the Filipino Martial Arts Hall of Fame in El Paso TX as Outstanding Instructor of the year. He was also made the NC State Representative for the Hall of Fame.

Mr. McGuire works full time as a Detective Sergeant for the Wilkesboro Police Department and also a certified law enforcement instructor for the state of North Carolina.
